Cranky Pants

Oh, my! I can't express how much I would love these Cranky Pants for the Kaed. These pants are so cute but so expensive. I need someone, who out of the kindness of their heart will make them for less. I'm sure they are tricky to make but what do I know I only create fabulous stuff like this in my dreams. (Sigh)

My Confession

I'm very excite about this and I'm not sure why. I think it may have something to do with the fact that we just got rid of cable last week, I'm just now discovering all that iTunes has to offer and I've been locked in the house with the sweetest 5month old, who is very sick. Did you know that even Sesame Street has a podcast? This makes Kylie very happy. She watched five in a row and still has about 20 to go. Oh, ya back to Martha.
I must confess I love MARTHA, even if she is an ex-convict. Martha Stewart has a free podcast and on there are all these lovely looking recipes. Even though I've just started WW and I'm counting the points, I'm really looking forward to making the Peanut Butter Chunk cookies with my "chicks".

My friend Trisha moved to Utah few years ago just when we were getting to know each other. I really like her simple approach to scrap booking and some day when I grow up I want to scrap just like her. Recently she created a few pages that I really like and I just had to share.

My Talents

My children are a special, unique gift, given to only my husband and myself. Each one is a wonderful design, these little people are used in my life to keep me on my knees before my all knowing Heavenly Father. In Matt. 25:14-30, Jesus teaches the Parable of the Three Servants and every time I read this I reflect upon my mothering. When Jesus my master returns, I want him to say "Well, done, my good and faithful servant." When Sadie was first born the Lord gave me this passage as a basic guideline for how I mother. This is purely a personal thing between me and the Lord.

Blogg'n again

Joanne has encouraged me to start blogging again. I had just started this blog when I needed to set it aside to deal with many important circumstances in my life. Well, now I'm back and I'm excite to write. I think this is like a journal of sorts, a way to catalog snapshots of my life.

At the end of September we were blessed to go on vacation. Although Newport Beach is only a 30 min. drive for us, it is still a wonderful vacation and in our minds we are miles away from the norm. These are some of my favorite shots of the week.

My kids are growing up way to fast. I love that my daughters are growing tall like me but it makes them seem older than they really are. At 7 yrs. I'm already seeing a glimpse of Sadie's big girl face.
I don't really remember the reason for Ky's pouting but Jason and I love those lips.
I had fun teaching Sadie how to play tether ball and telling her the stories of how I would beat everyone in school. I gave her a few tall girl tricks to practice.

One of the things that I like to do as a mom is take pictures of my kids every month their whole first year. I'm so bummed that I didn't have a nice one take Kaedon's first month but here he is, month #2.
